Peace and Justice Foundation

In line with its statute, the Foundation takes effective steps to promote peace, social justice, and human rights: 1. Education and Awareness Organizing workshops and academic seminars to provide a deeper understanding of challenges and possible solutions. 2. Academic and Legal Collaboration Engaging with universities and international legal institutions to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of specialists. 3. Dialogue and Reflection Hosting roundtables and discussion sessions to facilitate exchanges among activists and researchers. 4. Research and Innovation Developing research programs to gain better insights into pathways for achieving sustainable peace and justice.

The Peace and Justice Foundation, in collaboration with activists and various groups in the Netherlands, has been holding an indefinite sit-in in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands since January 14, 2026. This action aims to amplify the voice of the Iranian people and support their struggle for freedom, human rights, equality, and democracy.

The primary objectives of this sit-in are:

    1. Closure of the Iranian Embassy in the Netherlands, as a recognized undesirable entity representing a regime engaged in terrorism, particularly in light of the European Union’s designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
    2. Expulsion of representatives and diplomats of the Iranian regime from the Netherlands.
    3. Ending all official cooperation between the Netherlands and the Islamic Republic.
    4. Supporting the Iranian people’s struggle for human rights and freedom.

The Foundation calls on the Dutch government to recognize the urgency and legitimacy of these demands and to actively support the Iranian people in their pursuit of a free, just, and democratic society.
